Job Summary

Balwaan Krishi is looking for a Business Development Executive / Lead to handle GeM, government tenders, e-tendering platforms, FPO opportunities, and institutional business development.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and track business opportunities on GeM and government e-tendering portals.
• Handle the end-to-end tender process, including RFP analysis, documentation, bid submission, clarifications, follow-ups, and result tracking.
• Identify and develop business opportunities with FPOs, government departments, PSUs, and institutions.
• Analyze tender requirements including eligibility, technical specifications, BOQ, EMD, turnover, experience, and compliance.
• Prepare and coordinate technical & commercial bid documents, quotations, and proposals.
• Coordinate with Sales, Technical, Finance, Legal, and Operations teams for timely submissions and execution.
• Handle BIS & FMTTI reports and GeM order processing.
• Maintain records of tenders, FPO opportunities, submissions, results, and business pipeline.
• Prepare regular reports on tender activities and business development.

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience with GeM and government tender processes.
• Knowledge of CPPP, state e-procurement portals, and other tendering platforms.
• Understanding of tender documentation and compliance requirements.
• Good communication, negotiation, coordination, and follow-up skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and stakeholders.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in FPOs, GeM, government sales, institutional sales, agri/rural business, or B2G business development is preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience with BIS & FMTTI reports and GeM order processing will be an added advantage.
• Candidates with relevant skills and a strong understanding of GeM/tender processes are encouraged to apply.

Education

Graduate in Business Administration, Commerce, Agriculture, Engineering, or a related field.
