Tendering Engineer

Role & responsibilities :

• Receive enquiry from sales, operations, management, or customers as arising and acknowledge receipt of the enquiry.
• Attend ORM (Order Related Meeting) arranged by FE, customer clarification meetings.
• Preparation and submission of SPIR (Spare Parts Interchangeability Record), ARC for OEM Parts in line with project requirements, ensuring Sulzer commercial guidelines and having the necessary approvals in accordance with the Delegation of Authority.
• Able to read and understand project documentation requirement GA & CS Drawings, P&ID, Datasheet, QAP, etc.
• Obtain the quotes from sub-vendors for bought outs like Motors, Coupling, Mechanical Seal & Instrumentation as per project / RFQ (Request For Quotation) requirements.
• Work closely with Sales, Engineering, Project Management and Operations to prepare cost effective, competitive quotation in line with Sulzer financial objectives.
• Overall responsibility for sustaining the profit margin on tenders.
• Ensure application of Sulzer tools.
• Work closely with the Sales teams to meet Tender Cycle Time, Take responsibility for all associated handover documentation in the event of an order to PM & Operations.
• Accurate quote creation in SAP in line with RFQ.
• Proactively engage and support company initiatives designed to promote a culture of safe working, environmental protection and continual improvement.

Preferred candidate profile

• Work experience: 2 Years and above in Pump or Rotary equipment industry.
• Expertise (e.g. professional, technical): SAP SD, MM Module, Techno- commercial T&C
• Languages: Marathi / Hindi / English
• Soft skills: MS Office (Excel Proficiency), CRM (Salesforce).
