Job Overview

Northstar Safety Systemz Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Tender Management professional with strong exposure to tendering, bidding, GEM Portal, government tenders, and end-to-end tender management.

The candidate will be responsible for identifying suitable tenders, preparing and submitting bids, coordinating documentation, ensuring compliance with tender requirements, and managing the complete bidding process from opportunity identification to submission and post-bid follow-up.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Identify and track relevant Government, PSU, corporate, and institutional tenders.
• Manage the complete end-to-end tendering and bidding process.
• Handle GeM (Government e-Marketplace) Portal activities, including tender participation and bid submission.
• Review tender documents, NITs, RFPs, RFQs, BOQs, eligibility criteria, and technical specifications.
• Prepare and compile technical, commercial, financial, and compliance documents as per tender requirements.
• Ensure timely submission of bids with complete and accurate documentation.
• Coordinate internally with technical, finance, operations, HR, and management teams for tender requirements.
• Prepare EMD, tender fee, performance security, declarations, undertakings, and other statutory documents.
• Maintain a database/tracker of ongoing, upcoming, submitted, awarded, and rejected tenders.
• Monitor tender corrigenda, amendments, deadlines, pre-bid meetings, and clarification requirements.
• Coordinate for pre-bid queries, clarifications, negotiations, and post-bid communications.
• Support L1/L2 analysis, commercial evaluation, and tender outcome tracking.
• Maintain proper records of all tender-related documents and submissions.
• Follow up on work orders, contracts, agreements, and other post-award documentation.
• Ensure compliance with all tender-specific terms, conditions, and submission timelines.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of relevant experience in Tender Management / Tendering / Bidding.
• Hands-on experience with GeM Portal is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of government and private-sector tender processes.
• Good knowledge of tender documentation, bid preparation, BOQ, EMD, eligibility criteria, and compliance requirements.
• Strong MS Excel, MS Word, and documentation skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under strict deadlines.
• Strong coordination, follow-up, and organizational skills.
• Good English communication and professional correspondence skills.
• Ability to independently manage multiple tenders simultaneously.

Qualification

• Graduate in any discipline.
• Relevant experience in tender management and bidding will be given preference.
