Job Summary

The Telesales Team Leader is responsible for managing a team of telemarketers to achieve sales, lead conversion, and customer engagement targets. The role involves coaching team members, monitoring performance, ensuring quality standards, and driving overall campaign success through effective communication and leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise, guide, and motivate to team
• Allocate daily calling lists and monitor productivity
• Ensure adherence to scripts, processes, and compliance guidelines
• Track daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs (calls made, conversions, Lead conversion, etc.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and feedback sessions
• Identify underperformance and implement improvement plans
• Train new joiners on product knowledge, communication skills, and calling techniques
• Conduct refresher training sessions for existing team members
• Improve team pitch quality and objection handling skills
• Ensure achievement of sales/lead targets assigned to the team
• Optimize calling strategies for better conversion rates
• Coordinate with sales/marketing teams for campaign updates
• Maintain daily MIS reports and performance dashboards
• Share updates with management on progress, issues, and insights
• Analyze call data to improve effectiveness
• Assist in handling escalated calls or difficult customers when required
• Ensure high standards of customer interaction quality

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelors degree/Any Graduate
• 3 to 6 years of experience in telemarketing/telesales; Minimum 2 years in a leadership role preferred
• Strong communication and persuasion skills
• Leadership and team management abilities
• Knowledge of CRM tools and call centre software
• Target-driven mindset with problem-solving skills
