Telesales Agent

Role & responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to vendors/business owners and explain the project and onboarding process.
• Identify and connect with vendors who meet the required eligibility and qualification criteria.
• Explain the project requirements, recording process, payout structure, and other relevant details to vendors.
• Onboard eligible vendors by collecting and verifying the required information.
• Understand the vendor's business/work profile and check whether their work activities meet the project requirements.
• Maintain regular follow-ups with interested vendors and assist them throughout the onboarding process.
• Coordinate with the internal/operations team for vendor verification, scheduling, and onboarding completion.
• Maintain accurate records of calls, vendor status, follow-ups, and onboarding progress.
• Achieve daily calling and onboarding targets as assigned.
• Handle vendor queries professionally and escalate any issues or concerns to the relevant team.
• Ensure all vendor information and onboarding details are updated accurately in the assigned system/tracker.

Preferred candidate profile

• Candidates with 1+ year of experience in telecalling, inside sales, customer support, vendor onboarding, or business development.
• Prior experience in outbound calling and lead conversion will be preferred.
• Candidates who are comfortable speaking with vendors/business owners over the phone.
• Good communication and convincing skills with the ability to explain processes clearly.
• Comfortable with follow-ups and handling vendor queries.
• Basic knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets and CRM tools.
• Candidates who are target-oriented and comfortable working in a work-from-home environment.
• Should have a smartphone, laptop/desktop, stable internet connection, and a quiet workspace.
• Candidates who can maintain accurate records and coordinate with internal teams.
• Kannada + English or telgu + english communication preferred; knowledge of regional languages can be an added advantage.
