Telephone Operator

Key Responsibilities

• Answer, screen, and forward incoming calls promptly and professionally
• Take and relay accurate messages to relevant staff/departments
• Handle general inquiries and provide basic information about the company
• Maintain and update the internal telephone directory/extension list
• Operate and manage the EPABX/PBX system
• Log call details, complaints, or requests as required
• Coordinate with front desk/reception for visitor and call management
• Escalate urgent calls or emergencies to the appropriate personnel
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information shared over calls
• Assist with administrative/clerical tasks during idle time, if required
