Job Summary

Nu10 Technologies Private Limited is looking for qualified and motivated medical doctors to join our team as Telemedical Underwriters.

In this role, you will be responsible for conducting telemedical assessments, gathering relevant medical information from insured members, analysing medical records and test reports, and preparing accurate Medical Examination Reports (MER) to support the insurance underwriting process.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct telemedical verification of insured members through audio, chat, and video communication.
• Conduct interactive health assessments and gather accurate medical and health-related information.
• Review and analyse medical records, investigation reports, laboratory results, medications, and other medical documents.
• Assess medical information and identify relevant health risks to support the underwriting process.
• Prepare comprehensive and accurate Medical Examination Reports (MER) in the prescribed format.
• Apply strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, disease processes, signs and symptoms, medications, and laboratory values.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure confidentiality of medical and personal information.
• Effectively use telemedical platforms and technology-based systems for conducting assessments and maintaining records.
• Communicate professionally with insured members and handle medical information with sensitivity and accuracy.
• Work independently, manage assigned cases efficiently, and meet defined timelines and quality standards.

Candidate Profile / Qualifications

• Medical degree: BHMS / BAMS / BDS from a recognised institution.
• Valid medical registration/license is required.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, diseases, medications, and laboratory investigations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities.
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with insured members.
• Comfortable working with telemedical platforms, digital tools, and online systems.
• Ability to prepare clear, accurate, and detailed medical reports.
• Knowledge of a vernacular/regional language is an added advantage.
• Prior experience in telemedicine, medical underwriting, insurance, healthcare, or MER preparation will be preferred.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple cases, and meet deadlines.
• High level of attention to detail, accuracy, professionalism, and confidentiality.
