About the Role The role involves testing for Telematics ECU Software using CAN, REST API, and Business partner portals. You will be responsible for automating the Connectivity Testcases/use cases using ECU.Test and contributing to the existing practices with fresh thoughts to improve productivity.
Responsibilities
- Testing for Telematics ECU Software using CAN, REST API, and Business partner portals
- Automating the Connectivity Testcases/use cases using ECU.Test
- Come up with test cases from the requirement specification, create test plans & execution
- Create and maintain test bench setups
- Contribute to the existing practices with fresh thoughts to improve productivity
Qualifications
- ~4 to 5 years of overall experience in embedded systems validation
- Hands-on Experience (must) in the ECU.test for a minimum of 3 to 4 years
- Hands-On Experience in Telematics domain with good understanding of Telematics Control Unit, Telematics use cases, and how everything fits in the context of IoT
- Working knowledge of cloud & backend communications with Telematics Control unit
- Experience in working with Linux-like environment
- Experience in Automotive domain, with exposure to in-vehicle networks
- Experience in variety protocols from different layers – Serial protocols, CAN, UDS, TCP/IP, HTTP, MQTT, Ethernet
- Having been a part of an Agile/SaFe team
- Good to have – experience in DevOps
- Experience in shell scripting, python scripting
- Automotive Experience with Telematic, Infotainment ECU System Validation
Required Skills
- Automotive Networking tools: CANOE, CAnalayzer
- Communication protocol: CAN, LIN, Ethernet
- Connectivity protocol: WCDMA, MQTT
- Requirement Analysis and Test cases development
- ECU.Test Automation Skills with Python
- Candidate must have the Backend tools experience
- Candidate should have experience to analyze the customer issue and Vehicle issue
- Candidate must have skills in Panel creation and Integration bench creation and Testing
Preferred Skills
- CANOe & Vector Tools
- UDS, Automotive Ethernet, DoIP
- Python, Pytest, bash, windows batch scripting
- Experience in using ECU.Test Automation Tool
- git, jira, gerrit, RTC
- Doors, DoorsNG
- Well acquainted with IDEs like Pycharm
- Practical knowledge on Computer Networks
- Security Concepts – Public key cryptography, Encryption
- Concepts in the web – HTTP, TLS
