Telecom Cloud Integration Engineer

Experience in managing and installing OS and virtualization solutions

Strong hands on experience in virtualization tools like VMWARE, Open stack, CBIS etc

Strong knowledge of Unix/Linux/Windows operating systems

Hands on experience in Identity Management systems for SSO etc

Exposure to OS hardening.

Knowledge of Kubernetes, Helm, OpenStack/CaaS platforms

Should have sound knowledge of Nokia Policy product

Nokia Policy Controller (NPC) provides the Policy and Charging Rules Function (PCRF) or Policy Charging Function (PCF) deployed within 4G and 5G networks respectively. NPC aligns with LTE/4G interfaces and already supports various 5G interfaces, evolving fast to full support of 5G. NPC is deployed as a set of Virtualized Network Functions (VNFs) that can leverage the operator’s existing cloud architecture. The NPC provides flexibility using the different operations defined by the 3GPP architecture. NPC provides Quality of Service (QoS) policies based on subscriber device provisioning without compromising on scalability and performance.

The work scope includes:

Pre-installation and environment readiness checks.

Execution of the approved MOP and installation/integration/upgrade activities.

VNF/CNF onboarding and configuration.

Loading of the required configuration files.

Verification of communication within and across the Network Function (NF) PODs.

Post-installation checks and validation.

Geo-Redundancy configuration and validation across both sites.

Execution of applicable redundancy,failover test cases, functional and non functional test cases

Troubelshooting of call flow and deployment related issues.

Documentation of execution results and identified issues, if any.
