The Opportunity

We are looking for an SAP OpenText VIM Senior Consultant to join the EY GDS Team. As part of our EY GDS - TechOps team, you will be responsible for providing functional support for SAP OpenText VIM across various regions for our global clients. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to address issues, implement enhancements, and optimize invoice management processes to meet business requirements.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Bachelor's degree in engineering/technology (B.E./B. Tech) or Commerce/Finance (B. Com, M. Com), MBA (Finance), CA, ICWA/CMA, or equivalent professional experience.
• 3-7 years of experience in SAP OpenText VIM/OpenText VIM implementation or AMS support, preferably with global clients.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for providing support for SAP OpenText VIM incidents and service requests, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• Support incident resolution by analysing issues raised by users and providing effective solutions.
• Work closely with customers and support teams to ensure issues and requests are followed up and addressed in a timely manner.
• Handle change requests with a clear understanding of business requirements and invoice processing workflows.
• Understand business needs and deliver solutions that improve invoice automation, approval workflows, and operational efficiency.
• Cross-functional communication skills; experience in offshore/onsite delivery models.
• Defect analysis and resolution related to SAP OpenText VIM and integrated SAP modules.
• Ability to work with minimal guidance or supervision in a time-critical environment.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills within a global support environment.
• Flexibility in managing work hours due to the nature of Application Management Services, including shift support and on-call availability for critical business requirements.
• Responsible for decision-making, optimizing processes, resource management, and overseeing team management as needed for task execution.
• Accountable for allocating personnel, supervising team members, assigning tasks, ensuring that the team has the necessary tools and support to succeed in their roles and optimizing and evaluating their performance to meet organizational goals.

Skills and attributes for success

Ideally, you'll also have:

• Strong knowledge of SAP OpenText VIM components including: Invoice Capture Center (ICC), Document Processing, Approval Workflows, Exception Handling, Duplicate Invoice Checks, Business Rules Framework, Reporting and Analytics.
• Experience with SAP FI and MM integration points, including: Accounts Payable, Purchase Orders, Goods Receipts, Vendor Master Data, Payment Processing.
• Knowledge of workflow troubleshooting, configuration, and enhancement activities.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA and VIM migration/support projects.
• SAP/OpenText VIM Certification is preferred.

What you will do

• Provide day-to-day Application Management support for SAP OpenText VIM and related SAP applications across IT Service Management, including service requests, incident management, enhancement requests, change management, and problem management as a Level 2 or Level 3 Application Management Specialist.
• Lead and coordinate the resolution of complex VIM process issues, workflow failures, invoice processing exceptions, and system outages, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather business requirements, assess operational challenges, and provide recommendations on SAP
