Techops Engineer I

Responsibilities:

• Monitor system health dashboards and respond to alerts promptly to maintain platform availability.
• Act as first responder for low-to-medium severity incidents and perform initial triage.
• Investigate issues using logs, data queries, and API-level debugging.
• Execute operational workflows (bulk actions, event replays, data corrections) using approved runbooks.
• Escalate high-severity issues with clear diagnostics and context.
• Partner with engineering and business teams to improve incident response and support quality.
• Contribute to SOPs, runbooks, and lightweight automation scripts.

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of experience in backend engineering, production support, or tech operations.
• Strong fundamentals in SQL, APIs, PIs, and log-based debugging.
• Working knowledge of observability tools (Grafana/Kibana/Loki or equivalent).
• Basic scripting skills in Python or Bash for task automation.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and communication skills.
• Ownership mindset and comfort working in on-call or incident-driven environments.
