Minimum 5 Year(s) Of Experience Is Required Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education Summary: As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves creating tailored software solutions by designing, coding, and improving various components within systems or applications. The role requires working closely with project teams to ensure that the software meets specific business requirements. The engineer actively engages in iterative development cycles, applying modern methodologies to build scalable and efficient solutions that align with organizational goals. Collaboration and continuous refinement of software elements are key aspects of the daily workflow, ensuring that the final product delivers optimal performance and user satisfaction. Roles & Responsibilities : Design and Development of Android framework components and hal services tailored to run on automotive platform. Customization of android automotive framework (eg:audio, video, camera) in alignment with MBOS platform Performance measurement and optimization of components to meet automotive KPI s Co-working with User concept to bring the product based design concept. Working with multi location team and product owners to bring the customer centric android app integration in Car multimedia Quick learning of both Embedded Android and Linux technologies to perform the full stack Android development. Professional & Technical Skills: Must Have Skills : Expertise in AOSP, AAOS, Android framework and services (such as Multimedia, camera). Solid expertise in Android HAL s, Car Framework, Android graphics pipeline, DRM, Codecs. Good experience in working in Linux Kernel configurations to enable the Android container and VM based solutions. Good knowledge in Hardware abstraction layers in Android and/or Linux. Programming using C/C++, Java/Kotlin, Linux. Good understanding of the git, CI/CD workflow Experience in agile based projects.
