Key Responsibilities:
Preparation of PFDs, PIDs, concept layouts, Mass Energy Balance for new projects
CAPEX estimation (Class 4) and OPEX calculations for process evaluation
Support pilot operations team in troubleshooting and process optimization
Participate in HAZOP, PSSR, and Management of Change (MOC) activities
Coordinate with RD for DoE, TTD package reviews, and new molecule development
Design and monitor pilot trials along with Process Operations teams
Perform ASPEN simulations, distillation studies, and process mapping
Technical evaluation and clearance of equipment along with vendor coordination
Support development of technology standards, manuals, and process improvements
Capture project learnings and implement improvements in pilot trial execution
Desired Expertise:
Strong understanding of Process Engineering Pilot Plant Operations
Hands-on experience in Mass Energy Balance calculations
Knowledge of ASPEN Simulation and process optimization tools
Experience in projects from concept to commissioning
Understanding of Chemical Reaction Hazard Analysis safety studies
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and coordination skills
Exposure to CAPEX/OPEX estimation and process economics
