Summary:
Manufacturing IT-OT Integrations Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing integrations between manufacturing systems (primarily IT and OT systems), the key ones being integrations between ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), MES (Manufacturing Execution System), PLM (Product Lifecycle Management), WMS (Warehouse Management System) and OT systems etc. This role ensures manufacturing integrations across projects are designed to leverage the optimal technical approach and are robust, interoperable, standardized and reusable. The architect will work closely with business and IT stakeholders of clients and Accenture leads in aligning integration strategies to meet organizational project goals.

Roles Responsibilities:
a)Define and maintain the ITOT integration architecture, aligning enterprise and shop-floor systems for digital manufacturing connectivity and interoperability.
b)Develop and enforce integration standards, data models, and communication protocols (e.g., OPC UA, MQTT, REST APIs, EDI etc.).
c)Recommend, design/ develop and configure solutions with integration platforms or middleware (e.g., Azure IoT Hub, Kepware, Ignition, MuleSoft etc.).
d)Create and maintain technical documentation, data flow diagrams, and integration architecture maps.
e)Lead design, development and deployment of interfaces enabling end-to-end system connectivity:digital engineering (PLM) to enterprise operations (ERP) to production/ shopfloor (MES/SCADA/ PLCs/ Historian/ sensors) and logistics (WMS).
f)Ensure integrations meet cybersecurity, scalability, reliability, data accuracy and performance standards
g)Troubleshoot data flow or communication issues between IT and OT layers.
h)Partner IT and OT stakeholders and partners to identify integration opportunities and design optimal solutions.
i)Establish data governance and interface management practices to ensure consistent and compliant information exchange.
j)Provide training and knowledge sharing on ITOT integration standards, tools, and best practices.


Professional Technical Skills:
a)Proven expertise with integration of manufacturing and enterprise systems. Knowledge of interfacing at least 1-2 MES (Siemens Opcenter, Rockwell FactoryTalk, Aveva MES) or IoT platforms (e.g. Azure, AWS, Thingworx etc.) with SCADA/ PLCs/ historians/ machine data/ field devices etc.
b)Experience in systems integration projects, having been involved hands-on and led the following:define, design, configure and implement interfaces.
c)Strong understanding and experience of implementation of integration with shop-floor automation systems (Siemens, Rockwell, Schneider etc.), Historians (Aveva, GE Proficy, Honeywell etc.)
d)Strong knowledge of using industrial interoperability protocols (OPC, Mimosa, MQTT, Modbus, Profinet etc).
e)Experience with industrial data platforms and middleware tools (Kepware, Ignition, Azure IoT, Kafka, or similar).
f)Knowledge of modern integration approaches:micro-services, cloud/hybrid integrations, event-driven architecture, API gateways, message queues, enterprise service bus (ESB), data mapping and transformation leveraging ETL tools etc.
g)Knowledge of interfaces development and deployment architecture for both on-premise and cloud e.g. Rest services, Azure logic apps etc.
h)Familiarity with security compliance aspects in integrations (data encryption, privacy, logging, audit trails) and cybersecurity standards for data integration
i)Knowledge of cybersecurity standards relevant to ITOT integration (ISA/IEC 62443).
j)Strong thought leadership, articulation and presentation skills with the ability to articulate through compelling story telling

Good to Have Skills:
a)End to end OT implementation experience
b)Knowledge of at least one industry domain (viz. consumer goods, energy, industrial manufacturing, automotive manufacturing, utilities, semiconductors etc.)



Additional Information:
a) The candidate should have minimum 12 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering MES.
b) Location:Bengaluru, Pune
