About this role
To prepare and maintain operating theatres and equipmentand assist surgical and anaesthetic teams during operations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Transport patients to and from the theatre and wards
- Assist in preparing operating rooms for surgery
- Set upcheckconnect and adjust surgical equipment
- Provide technical assistance to surgeonssurgical nurses and anaesthetists
- Clean and restock the operating roomarranging instrumentssupplies and equipment according to instruction
- Position patients for surgical and anaesthetic treatments.
Candidate Requirements:
- Able to work accurately and with minimal supervision.
- Ability to comprehend written instructions given by the related departmental personnel.
- Ability to plan & organize ones work schedule effectively.
- Speaking and listening are essential requirements to understand and carry out the instructions given by the supervisors and other related departmental personnel.
