Technician / Associate in Maintenance

Maintenance Operations

• Execute preventive, predictive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance activities as per the maintenance schedule.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment issues.
• Attend machine breakdowns and restore equipment to operational condition with minimum downtime.
• Support machine installation, commissioning, modification, and upgrading activities.
• Ensure maximum machine availability and reliability to meet production requirements.

Maintenance Planning & Documentation

• Prepare and update Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Predictive Maintenance (PdM) plans.
• Develop and maintain maintenance SOPs, work instructions, checklists, and maintenance records.
• Ensure all maintenance manuals, drawings, documentation, and equipment history records are updated and properly maintained.
• Record maintenance activities accurately in CMMS systems such as Maximo.

Safety, Quality & Compliance

• Follow all machine safety requirements and adhere to Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
• Ensure maintenance activities comply with Quality, Environmental, Health, and Safety Management Systems.
• Participate in IMS (Integrated Management System), IATF, and internal/external audits as required.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following 5S practices.

Continuous Improvement

• Participate in Continuous Improvement, TPM, Kaizen, and Lean Manufacturing initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve equipment performance, energy efficiency, reliability, and maintenance costs.
• Support the implementation of new technical solutions and automation projects.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring failures.

KPI Management

• Support achievement of maintenance KPIs including:
• Equipment Uptime
• MTTR (Mean Time to Repair)
• MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures)
• Breakdown Reduction
• Preventive Maintenance Compliance
• Maintenance Cost Control
• Contribute to both Global and Local Maintenance KPI targets.

Educational Qualification

• Diploma / ITI in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related engineering discipline.
• Additional certifications in Maintenance, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, PLC, or Safety will be an added advantage.

Experience

• 1-3 years of experience in industrial maintenance within manufacturing environments.
• Experience in preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of production equipment.
• Experience in automotive, industrial, textile, process, or continuous manufacturing industries is preferred.
