Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled Technical Writer to create clear, accurate, and user-friendly technical documentation. The ideal candidate will work closely with engineering, product, and support teams to translate complex technical concepts into well-structured documents.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain technical documentation including user guides, manuals, SOPs, FAQs, and release notes
- Translate complex technical information into simple, easy-to-understand content
- Collaborate with developers, engineers, and SMEs to gather requirements
- Ensure documentation follows company standards and style guides
- Update existing documents based on product changes and enhancements
- Manage documentation versions and repositories
- Review and edit content for clarity, accuracy, and consistency
- Support documentation for APIs, software applications, and tools
Required Skills Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a Technical Writer
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with documentation tools (MS Word, Confluence, MadCap Flare, Adobe FrameMaker, etc.)
- Basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience writing API documentation
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum environments
- Familiarity with version control tools (Git)
- Technical background or degree is a plus
