ABOUT THE ROLE:
Delta Valuers & Appraisers LLP is seeking an experienced Technical Manager to lead and quality-assure the retail Land & Building valuation stream. The incumbent will be responsible for end-to-end technical oversight of residential and small commercial property valuations for public sector banks, private banks, and NBFCs across the retail lending portfolio. This is a hands-on leadership role with full accountability for report quality, TAT adherence, and client relationship management within the retail segment
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead and review all retail Land & Building valuation reports across the Mumbai and branch portfolio
Conduct and supervise site inspections for residential and small commercial properties
Ensure report quality, technical accuracy, and compliance with bank/IBBI guidelines before dispatch
Manage turnaround time (TAT) commitments to retail banking clients
Mentor and provide technical direction to Field Analysts and Report Analysts in the retail stream
Liaise directly with bank relationship managers and panel coordinators for query resolution
Review and sign off on valuation reports within delegated authority limits
Maintain updated knowledge of local property market trends, ready reckoner rates, and registration data
Ensure adherence to SARFAESI guidelines for retail mortgage valuations
Coordinate with the MIS team to ensure data accuracy and timely report dispatch
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Graduate in Civil Engineering (B.E. / B.Tech) or Architecture; postgraduate qualification preferred
Minimum 610 years of experience in property valuation, with at least 3 years in a review/supervisory capacity
Empanelment experience with PSBs, private banks, and/or NBFCs
Strong understanding of SARFAESI Act, bank empanelment norms, and mortgage valuation standards
Proficiency in local property market dynamics across Mumbai Metropolitan Region
Strong written communication skills for client correspondence and report sign-off
