• Certification in Public Cloud and Technology Certification (i.e. AWS/AZURE/GCP)

Key Responsibilities*

• Experienced Cloud Security Engineer to design, implement, manage, and continuously improve security controls across the Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in identity and access management, cloud governance, data protection, key management, security monitoring, compliance, and zero-trust architecture using Google Cloud security services.
• The role will be responsible for securing enterprise cloud workloads, implementing security best practices, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Key Responsibilities
• Managing Web & Content Security: reCAPTCHA Enterprise, Web Risk, Safe Browsing, Model Armor.
• Configure and Manage Data Protection & Secrets: Cloud Key Management Service (KMS), Secret Manager, Sensitive Data Protection, Parameter Manager, Certificate Authority Service.
• Managing Perimeter & Network Security: Access Context Manager, VPC Service Controls, Chrome Enterprise Premium (CEP).
• Managing and Administering Threat Detection & Monitoring: Security Command Center, Cloud Asset Inventory, Policy Intelligence.
• Identity & Access Security
• Design and implement secure Identity and Access Management (IAM) policies following least-privilege principles.
• Manage Cloud Identity users, groups, authentication, and federation.
• Implement Privileged Access Management (PAM) for elevated access.
• Configure Identity-Aware Proxy (IAP) for Zero Trust access.
• Manage OAuth authentication and secure API authorization.
• Implement Policy Intelligence to optimize IAM permissions.
• Administer Access Context Manager for context-aware access policies.
• Governance & Compliance
• Configure and maintain Assured Workloads for regulated environments.
• Support regulatory frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC2, PCI DSS, HIPAA, GDPR, etc.
• Utilize Audit Manager for compliance evidence collection.
• Review Access Transparency logs for privileged Google access.
• Manage Advisory Notifications and security recommendations.
• Implement Cloud Asset Inventory for cloud resource governance.
• Manage Resource Manager policies and folder/project hierarchy.
• Data Protection & Encryption
• Implement and manage Cloud Key Management Service (KMS).
• SCC(Vulnerability Management)
• Troubleshoot and resolve networking issues related to security protocols (SSL, TLS, HTTPS), VPNs, Firewalls, and public/private networking configurations within GCP.
• Offer technical guidance and support for GCP security tools, including Cloud KMS (Key Management Service) and Security Command Center.
• Manage the support case lifecycle end-to-end, communicating clearly and effectively with stakeholders to break down complex issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps
• Identifying, resolving technical issues, and diagnosing the root cause of technical problems, whether hardware, software, or network-related
• Providing technical assistance to users, both internal and external, through various channels
• Communicating technical information clearly and concisely to users and stakeholders
• Setting up and tearing down cloud resources (servers, storage, networks, resource manager, secret manager) as needed
• Ensuring consistent and secure configurations across the cloud environment
• Support with 24x7 operations (Rotational Shifts)
