Technical Support Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 25 years’ experience in electrical materials, technical support, or technical submittals.
• Practical experience preparing Technical/Material Submittals, Compliance Sheets, Datasheets, and Technical Clarifications.
• Good understanding of electrical specifications, standards, and product compliance.
• Ability to review BOQs, project specifications, datasheets, catalogues, and drawings.
• Experience coordinating with suppliers, manufacturers, contractors, and consultants.
• Good knowledge of MS Office, Excel, Word, and PDF documentation.
• Good English communication and documentation skills.
• Knowledge of IEC, UL, BS, SASO and project-specific standards
• Electrical material trading/distribution experience is an advantage.

Preferred candidate profile

Previous experience in the GCC electrical materials market is preferred, with good knowledge of regional project requirements and standards
