Technical Support Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide customer-focused technical support and troubleshooting via phone, email, and chat.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, operating system, and application issues to ensure smooth operations.
• Troubleshoot environments across Windows, Linux, and macOS platforms.
• Apply basic networking knowledge including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP to diagnose connectivity issues.
• Perform root cause analysis, troubleshoot recurring issues, and escalate complex problems to higher-level support teams.
• Log, track, prioritize, and manage incidents using ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, or similar ticketing tools.
• Monitor system performance and proactively address issues to maintain availability and minimize downtime.
• Support system installations, configurations, upgrades, and other technical maintenance activities.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation, troubleshooting procedures, issue resolutions, SLA/KPI records, and support knowledge bases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or equivalent experience.
