Technical Support Engineer - Pune

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Desktop Support Engineer to provide day-to-day IT support to end users and ensure smooth functioning of desktop, laptop, network, and IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide L1/L2 technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows OS, MS Office, applications, and hardware.
• Troubleshoot basic LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and network connectivity issues.
• Manage user accounts, password resets, and access-related issues.
• Perform hardware/software installation, upgrades, and preventive maintenance.
• Handle IT incidents and service requests through ticketing tools.
• Coordinate with network, server, and other IT teams for escalations.
• Maintain IT asset and inventory records.
• Ensure timely resolution of user issues as per SLA.

Required Skills:

• Good knowledge of Windows 10/11 and MS Office.
• Hardware and desktop troubleshooting.
• Basic knowledge of LAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and Wi-Fi.
• Knowledge of Active Directory and ticketing tools.
• Good communication and customer-handling skills.
• ITIL knowledge/certification will be an added advantage.
