Area(s) of responsibility S.No Roles and Responsibilities Automation Testing 1 Good in Core Java programming 2 Experience in TestNG, Selenium - Web based test framework 3 Experience in Rest assured API for microservices framework - Microservices 4 Experience in BDD Cucumber framework 5 Knowledge of Jenkins QE pipeline deployment and execution 6 Experience in implementing HTML or auto test reports Manual Testing 11 Analyzing the Requirements from the client 12 Participating in preparing Test Plans 13 Preparing Test Scenarios 14 Preparing Test Cases for module, integration,system testing and regression testing. 15 Preparing Test Data’s for the test cases 16 Preparing Test Environment to execute the test cases 17 Analyzing the Test Cases prepared by other team members 18 Executing the Test Cases 19 Defect Tracking 20 Giving mandatory information of a defect to developers in order to fix it 21 Preparing Summary Reports 22 Attending status calls 23 Preparing Lesson Learn documents from the previous project testing experience 24 Preparing Suggestion Documents to improve the quality of the application 25 Communication with the Test Lead / Test Manager/Client 26 Conducting Review Meetings within the Team. 27 Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and 5 to 8years of experience in the field or in a related area. 28 Experience with Test Management tools such as ALM, Jira, etc 29 Must have good knowledge of API testing using tools like Postman, JMeter, SoapUI, etc 30 Overall, must have good experience of Testing cycle in Agile
