Role: Technical SAP EWM

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement technical solutions for SAP EWM and S/4HANA EWM.
• Strong hands-on experience in SAP EWM technical development and customization.
• Develop and maintain ABAP reports, interfaces, enhancements, BAdIs, user exits, and custom programs.
• Work extensively with PPF (Post Processing Framework), condition techniques, and EWM actions.
• Develop and support Warehouse Tasks, Warehouse Orders, Warehouse Process Types, and document flows.
• Configure and develop solutions for RF Framework and RF transactions.
• Work on qRFC, IDocs, XML, APIs, OData, and web services for EWM integrations.
• Develop interfaces between EWM and SAP S/4HANA/ERP, MM, SD, PP, TM, and third-party warehouse systems.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues using ABAP and EWM debugging techniques.
• Analyze performance issues and perform technical optimization.
• Work with Fiori/UI5 and OData services for EWM-related applications where required.
• Support data migration, cutover, deployment, and production stabilization activities.
• Prepare technical specifications, development documentation, and unit test scenarios.
• Coordinate with functional consultants, business users, integration teams, and offshore/onshore development teams.
• Lead technical discussions and provide solutions for complex EWM requirements.

Required Technical Skills

• 812 years of SAP experience with strong EWM technical exposure.
• Strong expertise in SAP EWM / S/4HANA EWM.
• Excellent ABAP programming and debugging skills.
• Hands-on experience with BAdIs, User Exits, Enhancements, PPF, BADIs, and custom developments.
• Strong knowledge of RF Framework.
• Experience with qRFC, IDoc, XML, OData, APIs, and Web Services.
• Knowledge of Fiori/UI5 and CDS views is an advantage.
• Experience with S/4HANA integration and EWM-ERP integration.
• Good understanding of warehouse processes such as Inbound, Outbound, Picking, Packing, Putaway, Goods Receipt, Goods Issue, and Physical Inventory.
• Experience in technical design, code review, performance tuning, and production support.
• Strong knowledge of SAP transport management and development lifecycle.
