OperAxis is a W2 IT staffing firm supporting US clients. We are hiring remote Technical Recruiter Interns across India for first stage screening on a night desk.

About the Role

Stipend: ₹5,000 per month

Mode: 100% remote, pan India

Shift: 6:00 PM to 3:30 AM IST, 5 days a week

Duration: 3 months, extendable on performance

Responsibilities

• You will support first stage recruiting on live US IT contract roles such as Java, React, DevOps, Data, QA, BA, and similar.
• Daily work:
• Screen resumes against a written scorecard and job must haves
• Complete a structured candidate intake form (location, work authorization, education, notice period, expected W2 rate, relocation)
• Flag C2C only profiles, incomplete profiles, and obvious mismatches
• Update trackers in Excel or Google Sheets
• Coordinate follow ups, document collection, and interview scheduling
• Run a scripted first checkpoint call only after training and written sign off
• Keep clean notes. No invented resume facts. No rate or margin discussion with candidates or vendors

Qualifications

• Final year students or recent graduates in HR, MBA HR, Business, or related fields who can work nights

Required Skills

• People with prior internship or project exposure to recruitment, campus hiring, or talent coordination
• Strong written English and clear spoken English on video during night hours
• Comfortable with Excel or Google Sheets
• Own laptop, stable night internet, backup hotspot, WhatsApp, and Gmail
• Able to stay online from 6:00 PM to 3:30 AM IST. Short breaks are fine. Leaving the desk mid shift is not
• Must have confirmed night availability before joining
• Ability to follow a checklist without skipping steps
• Honest communication. If you do not know, say so
• Discretion with candidate data

Preferred Skills

• Prior use of Naukri, LinkedIn, or Internshala for sourcing
• Any exposure to IT roles or US staffing terms (W2, C2C, RTR, notice period)
• Experience filling trackers or ATS notes

Pay range and compensation package

₹5,000 per month, paid after attendance and quality review. Certificate and LOR on performance. No PPO promise. Conversion only if quality, volume, and compliance stay high.
