    About this role

    Overview

We are looking for a technically capable Project & Web Operations Manager who can independently manage WordPress websites, understand SaaS platforms, troubleshoot digital issues, coordinate developers across multiple countries, and communicate professionally with English-speaking clients. This is not a software developer role; the ideal candidate is technically fluent enough to understand development discussions, solve routine web issues independently, and translate business/client requirements into clear developer tasks.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Independently manage WordPress websites, including page creation and updates, publishing, file/media uploads and downloads, backups, plugin/theme updates, routine maintenance, and basic site administration.
    • Troubleshoot website issues, identify likely causes, resolve common problems independently, and coordinate with developers when coding or deeper technical support is required.
    • Understand and manage common web infrastructure concepts including hosting, domains, DNS, SSL, FTP/SFTP, caching, backups, plugins/themes, and basic HTML/CSS.
    • Support SaaS platform operations by understanding core concepts such as frontend/backend, authentication, user accounts, APIs, databases, webhooks, staging/production, deployment, payments/credits, and bugs at a non-developer but technically fluent level.
    • Act as a communication bridge among US business/client teams, other SaaS development teams, and developers located in other countries; clarify requirements, assign ownership, track progress, and confirm resolution.
    • Translate business requirements and client requests into clear technical tasks; perform website/platform QA, reproduce bugs, document screenshots/video, steps to reproduce, expected vs. actual results, severity, and retest completed fixes.

    Qualifications

    • 35+ years of relevant experience in Technical Project Management, Web Operations, Digital Project Management, SaaS Operations, Technical Account Management, Implementation, or a related role.
    • Strong hands-on WordPress experience and the ability to create, update, publish, export/download, back up, maintain, and troubleshoot websites without relying on a developer for routine work.
    • Working knowledge of HTML/CSS, hosting, domains, DNS, SSL, FTP/SFTP, plugins, themes, caching, website backups, and common website troubleshooting practices.
    • Practical understanding of SaaS platform architecture and terminology; able to follow technical discussions with frontend/backend developers even without developer-level coding skills.
    • Ability to determine whether an issue can be handled independently or requires developer support, communicate the issue clearly, follow through to completion, and verify the fix.
    • Experience with QA, bug reporting, ticket management, technical documentation, and tools such as Jira, ClickUp, Asana, Trello, or similar platforms.
    • Fluent or near-fluent professional English, written and spoken, with strong organization, documentation, problem-solving, and remote collaboration skills.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Direct professional experience working with clients in the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, Europe, or another English-speaking international market is strongly preferred.
    • Prior agency, SaaS, digital product, technology-services, or international remote-team experience; experience coordinating developers in multiple countries is a strong plus.
    • Experience supporting SaaS onboarding, product operations, technical support, implementation, payment/user-account workflows, API-related coordination, or production issue escalation.
    • Ability to lead client/developer meetings, explain technical matters in plain business English, and convert client requests into actionable specifications or tickets.
    • Experience maintaining multiple websites or digital projects simultaneously and establishing repeatable SOPs, QA checklists, issue logs, access records, and escalation procedures.
    • Candidates should be business-oriented and client-facing while remaining technically knowledgeable enough to communicate effectively with software developers.

    Working Conditions

    • Employment type: Freelance, part-time, or full-time depending on experience, location, and business needs.
    • Work arrangement: Remote work available; regular online collaboration with US clients/business teams and development teams in Korea and other countries.
    • Experience level: Mid-senior to senior; strong relevant experience is more important than title alone. Candidates with approximately 3–7 years of highly relevant agency/SaaS experience are encouraged to apply.
    • Compensation: To be determined based on location, technical depth, WordPress/SaaS experience, English proficiency, and international client-facing experience.

    Benefits

    • Flexible, autonomous remote work environment with exposure to international SaaS, web, AI-platform, and digital projects.
    • Opportunity to become a key bridge between clients, business stakeholders, and international development teams and to help establish scalable web/SaaS operating procedures.

    Hiring Process

    • Document screening (resume + summary of WordPress, SaaS, developer-coordination, and international client experience)
    • Practical scenario review: WordPress troubleshooting and SaaS bug/issue investigation, documentation, escalation, and developer coordination
    • Live English interview, including explanation of a technical issue previously handled for an English-speaking client
    • Final interview offer and employment/contract terms confirmed based on role and location

Required documents: Resume plus examples of WordPress/SaaS projects personally managed. Applicants must clearly identify international clients/projects supported, the country or market, their specific responsibilities, developers/teams coordinated, and the technical issues or workflows they personally handled.
