Technical Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to drive end-to-end project delivery across enterprise software implementation, product development, system integration, and digital transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate should possess strong project management expertise, stakeholder management capabilities, and a solid technical understanding of modern application architectures and software development practices. Hands-on experience or understanding of Java-based applications and related technologies is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of multiple projects from initiation to closure, ensuring scope, schedule, quality, and budget objectives are achieved.
• Manage cross-functional teams including Development, QA, Business Analysis, DevOps, Infrastructure, and Support teams.
• Define project plans, resource allocation, milestones, dependencies, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Drive Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and release planning.
• Monitor project progress through KPIs, dashboards, status reports, and stakeholder reviews.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, customers, and leadership teams to align project goals with business objectives.
• Identify project risks, issues, and dependencies and proactively drive resolution.
• Ensure adherence to delivery governance, quality standards, change management, and release management processes.
• Manage vendor and client relationships while ensuring high customer satisfaction.
• Support solution discussions by leveraging technical understanding of enterprise applications and integrations.
• Lead project financial tracking, effort estimation, forecasting, and resource planning.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
• 10+ years of IT experience with at least 6+ years in Project Management or Delivery Management roles.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering enterprise software projects.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery methodologies.
• Experience managing distributed and cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
• Experience using project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, MS Project, Confluence, or similar platforms.

Technical Skills (Good to Have)

• Understanding of Java/J2EE applications, Spring Boot, Microservices architecture, and REST APIs.
• Familiarity with frontend technologies such as Angular, React, or JavaScript frameworks.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, Git, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
• Exposure to system integrations, middleware, APIs, and enterprise application architecture.
• Understanding of application performance, scalability, and security best practices.

Preferred Certifications

• PMP, PRINCE2, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe, or equivalent project management certifications.
• Agile-related certifications preferred.
