Technical Project Manager

Job Description

Project Planning & Delivery

• Lead end-to-end project delivery from initiation through deployment and support.
• Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
• Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Monitor project progress and proactively manage risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.

Technical Leadership

• Work closely with solution architects and technical teams to define solution approaches.
• Facilitate technical discussions and decision-making.
• Review technical designs and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
• Understand system integrations, cloud technologies, APIs, data migration, and application development methodologies.

Stakeholder Management

• Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders.
• Communicate project status, risks, issues, and milestones to leadership.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment with business priorities.
• Conduct regular steering committee and project review meetings.

Team Management

• Coordinate cross-functional teams including developers, business analysts, testers, architects, and vendors.
• Foster collaboration and high-performance team culture.
• Support team members in resolving blockers and delivery challenges.
• Provide guidance and mentorship where required.

Risk & Governance Management

• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks.
• Ensure adherence to governance frameworks, quality standards, and compliance requirements.
• Manage change requests and project scope effectively.
• Maintain project documentation and audit readiness.

Agile & Delivery Excellence

• Drive Agile, Scrum, or hybrid delivery methodologies.
• Facilitate sprint planning, retrospectives, reviews, and daily stand-ups.
• Track project KPIs, metrics, and delivery performance.
• Promote continuous improvement and process optimization.

Domain Knowledge

• Prior experience and understanding of logistics domain are good to have.

Job Requirements

Experience

• 15+ years of IT experience with 5+ years in project/program management.
• Experience delivering enterprise applications, cloud, ERP, CRM, or digital transformation projects.
• Proven track record of managing multiple concurrent projects.

Technical Skills

• Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and hybrid methodologies.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, MS Project, or ServiceNow.
• Understanding of APIs, integrations, databases, and enterprise applications.
