Role Overview

As we scale, we are investing in building our own internal technology ecosystem, including a custom CRM and operational platform that will become the backbone of our customer, clinical, and operational workflows.

We are looking for a Technical Product Owner who can bridge business strategy and technology execution. This role is ideal for someone who began their career as a Software Engineer or Developer and has since transitioned into Product Management or Product Ownership.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical depth with product thinking and is capable of making informed decisions on architecture, scalability, integrations, and product prioritization.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the product roadmap for Sova's internal CRM and operational systems.
• Define product vision, priorities, and success metrics.
• Write clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical requirements.
• Prioritize features based on business impact, technical feasibility, and customer value.
• Collaborate with Operations, Sales, Customer Success, Clinical, Marketing, and Leadership teams to gather requirements.
• Translate business needs into actionable technical specifications.
• Communicate product decisions, trade-offs, and timelines to stakeholders.
• Act as the primary liaison between business teams and engineering teams.
• Define product KPIs and reporting requirements.
• Analyze user behavior, workflow efficiency, and operational performance.
• Use data to drive prioritization and product improvements.
• Continuously optimize internal systems based on business needs and user feedback.
  
  

Qualifications & Experience

• 4-8 years of overall experience in Software Engineering, Product Management, or Product Ownership with prior experience as a Software Developer or Full Stack Engineer
• Experience building CRM, workflow management, healthcare, SaaS, or customer lifecycle products from 0 to 1.
• Experience managing internal products used by multiple business functions and strong understanding of software architecture and system design.
• Working knowledge of backend systems, APIs, databases, cloud infrastructure, and integrations.
• Ability to read and understand code, even if not coding full-time.
• Familiarity with modern web application architecture and development practices.
• Experience working with engineering teams in Agile environments.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills.
• Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
• Comfortable working in fast-paced startup environments with ambiguity and evolving priorities.
