Role Overview The Technical Product Manager – Legal & Compliance plays a critical role in driving the vision, strategy, and delivery of enterprise legal and compliance technology solutions. This role combines product management, business analysis, and technical expertise to enable efficient, scalable, and compliant operations across global teams. The individual will collaborate closely with business stakeholders and technology teams to align product initiatives with organizational goals while ensuring an optimal user experience and operational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities Product Strategy & Roadmap
- Define product vision, objectives, and success metrics for enterprise legal and compliance solutions.
- Align business priorities with technology strategies, ensuring roadmaps reflect organizational goals.
- Partner with stakeholders to shape demand and prioritize initiatives effectively.
Analysis & Solution Design
- Conduct business analysis to map current and future processes.
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes using automation, artificial intelligence, and digital tools.
Delivery & Execution
- Manage the full product lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and implementation.
- Maintain and prioritize product backlogs aligned with strategic roadmaps.
- Oversee system integrations and ensure alignment with enterprise standards.
- Support deployment of solutions across regions and business units.
Governance & Compliance
- Establish and maintain governance and demand management frameworks.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, security standards, and internal policies.
- Maintain appropriate documentation across the software development lifecycle.
Testing & Continuous Improvement
- Support testing activities, including test planning and user acceptance testing.
- Monitor system performance, manage technical debt, and drive continuous improvement.
- Implement sustainable support models with a focus on root cause analysis and optimization.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management
- Manage relationships with external technology vendors and partners.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery and adoption of solutions.
- Coordinate application lifecycle management, including archiving and decommissioning when required.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10–13 years of experience in technology and product management, preferably within legal or compliance domains.
- Strong understanding of regional regulatory requirements and global system deployment considerations.
- Proven experience in project and product management, including planning, prioritization, and delivery.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Experience managing vendor relationships and external partners.
