Technical Product Manager – AI/ML & Quant (Path to CTO)

Adviserz is a fintech platform building a quant-driven AI/ML engine that generates proprietary trading strategies and delivers trade signals with confidence scores across Cash (equity), F&O, and Commodities in Indian markets. We're democratizing institutional-grade quant research for retail traders — and building toward becoming an original financial intelligence source for the market. We have a built-in beta audience of 1,000+ active traders through our affiliated trading education business. The Role We're hiring a Technical Product Manager who is equal parts

builder, researcher, and leader — someone who can own the end-to-end product lifecycle for our AI/ML and quant engine while building and managing a team of quant researchers and ML engineers. This is a hands-on role with a clear growth path to

CTO , including an equity stake. You'll bridge the gap between quant research, ML engineering, and shippable product — translating trading strategy concepts into a working, scalable system, while running an Agile development process. What You'll Do

• Own the

end-to-end product development cycle — from research and ideation through architecture, build, testing, and release — across multiple product phases

• Hire, build, and manage a team of quant researchers and ML/AI engineers
• Translate trading and quant concepts (signal generation, backtesting, risk metrics, regime detection, etc.) into clear technical and product requirements
• Personally code — contribute directly to ML pipelines, data infrastructure, or signal logic, not just manage from a distance
• Run Agile ceremonies (sprints, standups, retros) and maintain product roadmaps, backlogs, and delivery timelines
• Evaluate model performance (e.g., backtested returns, Sharpe ratio, drawdown, win rate, signal confidence) in partnership with the research team
• Make architecture and build-vs-buy decisions across the ML/data stack (e.g., model training pipelines, real-time data infra, broker API integrations)
• Ensure development practices support

regulatory considerations relevant to Indian capital markets (e.g., SEBI-related compliance awareness)

• Act as a technical thought partner to the CEO and COO on product strategy and team scaling
• Eventually step into a

CTO role , owning the full technology vision and organization What We're Looking For

• Strong understanding of

quantitative finance concepts — trading strategies, signal generation, backtesting, risk/performance metrics

• Solid grounding in

AI/ML — model development, evaluation, and deployment (e.g., XGBoost, LSTM, time-series/regime models or similar)

• Hands-on coding ability — Python required; comfort across data pipelines, ML workflows, and system architecture
• Proven experience as a

Product Manager or Technical Lead managing the full product lifecycle in an

Agile environment

• Experience

hiring and managing technical teams (quant researchers, data scientists, ML engineers)

• Ability to operate at both strategic (roadmap, architecture) and tactical (code, debug, ship) levels
• Strong communication skills — able to work directly with founders and represent technology to investors when needed
• Prior experience in

fintech, trading platforms, or capital markets strongly preferred

• Entrepreneurial mindset — comfortable in an early-stage, fast-moving startup environment Nice to Have
• Experience with broker APIs (Zerodha, Angel One, Upstox, etc.)
• Familiarity with options Greeks, volatility surfaces, or market microstructure
• Exposure to SEBI regulatory frameworks (Research Analyst license, algo trading registration)
