Technical Operations Manager (Software/IT)

Lead the technical support operations such as bug fixing, incident and problem management, and production support of on-premises critical application running 24x7, ensuring high availability, performance, security, reliability, and continuous improvement. The role requires strong hands-on understanding of modern application architecture and development, along with experience managing 24x7 production operations.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Lead application development, maintenance, production support, and 24x7 technical operations.
• Provide technical leadership across Java/Spring, Angular/React, Kafka, Oracle/PostgreSQL, Linux/Windows and related application technologies.
• Drive incident, problem, change, bug and service-request management, ensuring SLA adherence and timely resolution of critical production issues.
• Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and implementation of permanent corrective and preventive actions.
• Oversee all round application, database and system availability, performance, capacity, database operations, backup, replication, patching and HA/DR readiness.
• Drive CI/CD, DevOps and automation to improve deployment quality and reduce manual operational activities.
• Establish proactive monitoring and observability using tools such a Grafana, Prometheus and FluentGrid.
• Ensure security, vulnerability remediation, access controls, certificate management and audit compliance.
• Own operational KPIs, dashboards, service reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Act as the primary technical escalation point for support operations and coordinate with client, development, infrastructure, database, security and other cross-functional teams.
• Lead, mentor and manage technical teams to ensure effective delivery and operational excellence.
• Proven experience managing business-critical applications and high-severity production incidents.
• Strong stakeholder, team leadership and technical problem-solving capabilities.
