Technical Operations Assistant

We are looking for a technically skilled and hands-on professional to join its team in Ethiopia. The role involves working on the assembly of UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) systems, handling electronic components, and supporting day-to-day operational activities.

We are looking for someone with strong practical soldering skills and a good understanding of electronics. Along with technical responsibilities, the person will also assist with inventory, documentation, customer queries, and sales coordination.

• Perform soldering of electronic components on PCBs, along with wires and electrical connections used in UPS units.

• Participate in the complete UPS assembly process, including wiring, component fitting, testing, and basic quality checks.

• Identify and help troubleshoot technical issues during assembly and testing.

• Assist with customer technical queries and provide basic product-related support.

• Maintain stock records, track materials, and coordinate deliveries as required.

• Support sales activities by preparing quotations, maintaining order documents, and following up with distributors.

• Maintain proper records of assembly, testing, inventory, and other operational activities.

• Share regular work updates and coordinate with the General Manager in Ethiopia and the management team in Dubai.

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in soldering and electronics is mandatory.

• Practical experience in PCB soldering, electronic components, wiring, and circuit board connections.

• Basic understanding of electronic testing, troubleshooting, and quality checks.

• Experience with UPS systems, inverters, power backup equipment, or similar electrical/electronic products will be an advantage.

• ITI or Diploma in Electronics/Electrical is preferred; candidates with strong relevant practical experience will also be considered.

• Basic computer knowledge, including email and MS Excel.

• Good English communication skills and the ability to coordinate with different teams.

• Willingness to relocate from India to Ethiopia and work in a small, hands-on team.
