Hiring | Technical Manager – Structural Steel Detailing

I'm looking for an experienced Technical Manager – Structural Steel Detailing for a leading construction technology organization.

Location: Pune

Experience: 16+ years with US Project Experience Mandatory.

This is a senior technical leadership role for someone with strong expertise in Structural Steel Detailing / VDC, who can provide technical direction across multiple projects and help drive technical standards, quality and capability development across teams.

Key Requirements

• 16+ years of experience in Structural Steel Detailing / VDC

• Mandatory experience working on US projects

• Strong expertise in Tekla Structures

• Experience in technical leadership, mentoring and developing technical teams

• Strong understanding of BIM workflows, detailing standards and constructability

• Experience in technical reviews, QA/QC and technical governance

• Strong exposure to complex construction projects

• Experience with Bluebeam, Navisworks and Revit will be valuable

• Exposure to automation, scripting or Tekla Open API would be an added advantage.

What will you be responsible for

You will play a key role in:

• Providing technical leadership across multiple projects

• Reviewing complex models, drawings and detailing solutions

• Establishing and maintaining detailing/BIM standards

• Driving constructability, quality and technical governance

• Mentoring Technical Managers and technical teams

• Supporting complex projects and strategic initiatives

• Leading technical training and knowledge-sharing initiatives

• Driving innovation, automation and continuous improvement.

Important: Candidates without hands-on experience supporting US projects may not be suitable for this opportunity.
