Technical Manager

We are looking for a hands-on Technical Manager - Embedded Electronics to lead the development of embedded firmware for advanced industrial automation products. This is a techno-managerial role where you will drive end-to-end product development while mentoring a small team and contributing to architecture, design, coding, and debugging.

Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end embedded product development from requirements, architecture, design, development, validation, testing, and product release.
• Develop and review embedded firmware across all layers, including Bootloader, Low-Level Drivers, Middleware, Communication Stacks, and Application Layer.
• Design and implement firmware using RTOS and Bare-Metal environments.
• Develop low-level drivers and interfaces for microcontrollers and embedded hardware.
• Design and optimise motion control algorithms for industrial automation products.
• Work closely with hardware, mechanical, and system engineering teams for product integration.
• Drive firmware quality through design reviews, debugging, validation, and root cause analysis.
• Mentor engineers while remaining actively involved in firmware development.

Requirements:

• 11-18 years of embedded firmware development experience.
• Strong experience in Power Electronics, Motion Control, and Industrial Automation.
• Hands-on expertise in Embedded C/C++.
• Strong experience in RTOS and Bare-Metal firmware development.
• Hands-on experience in Low-Level Driver Development.
• Experience across firmware layers: Bootloader, Low-Level Drivers, Middleware, Communication Stack, Application Firmware.
• Experience with industrial communication protocols such as EtherCAT, CAN/CANopen, PROFINET, and IO-Link.
• Experience in Servo Drives, Frequency Inverters, Motion Controllers, or Motor Control products.
• Strong understanding of Motion Control Algorithms.
• Hands-on experience with embedded debugging and hardware bring-up.
• Exposure to embedded cybersecurity concepts including Secure Boot, Cryptography, Secure Firmware Updates, or similar security features.
