Technical Manager – NABL Accredited Civil Testing Laboratory

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Lead the lab's NABL accreditation process end to end: documentation, application, assessment and closure of non-conformities.
• Prepare and maintain the Quality Manual, SOPs, test methods, formats and records as per ISO/IEC 17025:2017.
• Plan and conduct internal audits and Management Review Meetings.
• Handle equipment calibration, measurement uncertainty, method validation, and PT/ILC participation.
• Oversee the calibration and testing of laboratory equipment to ensure accuracy and precision.
• Conduct concrete, soil, and NDT tests with high accuracy and attention to detail.
• Supervise testing staff, review and authorise test reports.
• Train lab personnel on test procedures and quality systems.
• Coordinate with NABL assessors and clients on technical matters.

Job Requirements :

• Strong knowledge of calibration, calibration testing, and NDT inspection techniques.
• Experience with concrete, soil, and NDT testing is essential.
• Educational qualification: B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in Civil Engineering.
• Must have personally handled NABL accreditation (initial or renewal) for a lab.
• Internal Auditor training/certification in ISO/IEC 17025:2017 (preferred).
• Strong documentation, communication and team-handling skills.
