Role: TSEC & Liaison

Position Summary

Assistant Manager or Deputy Manager in Hyderabad to handle technical liaison with government telecom customers for our Lithium-Ion battery and SMPS power plant products.

Role Purpose

The role is the company's technical face to government telecom customers in the region. The incumbent ensures our Lithium-Ion battery packs and SMPS power plants meet customer technical specifications, and approvals.

Key Responsibilities

1. Act as the single technical point of contact for government and PSU telecom customers (e.g., BSNL).
2. Study customer technical specifications, and GR/TEC requirements and align the team accordingly.
3. Coordinate type testing, product approvals, pre-dispatch inspections and customer witness tests.
4. Resolve field issues and complaints with root-cause analysis and corrective action, working with Quality, Production and R&D teams.
5. Follow up on approvals, inspection certificates, documentation and related clearances with customer offices.
6. Build and maintain working relationships with customer and officials at circle and corporate levels.

Mandatory Requirements

• Experience: 6–7 years overall, including at least 3–4 years in the electrical industry.
• Domain exposure: Hands-on exposure to Lithium-Ion batteries and SMPS power plants used in telecom applications (e.g., 48V DC power systems, rectifiers, battery banks).
• Government liaison: Proven experience liaising with government or PSU customers to meet their technical requirements, including specifications, approvals, inspections and documentation.
• Technical understanding: Working knowledge of power electronics basics, battery technology and site power requirements.
• Travel: Willing to travel to customer offices and sites as required.

Added Advantage

• Prior work experience with BSNL (as an employee, vendor, or channel partner), including familiarity with its inspection and approval processes.
• Exposure to TEC/GR specifications and type-approval processes.
• Knowledge of Telugu, plus Hindi and English, for regional customer interaction.

Education and General Skills

Education

• B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics or EEE.

Computer skills

• MS Excel: Pivot tables, charts and data analysis for MIS and trackers.
• MS Word: Technical letters, compliance statements and reports.
• MS PowerPoint: Customer and management presentations.
• Comfortable with email, ERP/portal-based documentation.

Quality

• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 quality systems and documentation.
• Familiarity with inspection procedures, test reports and customer quality requirements.
• Ability to apply root-cause analysis tools (5-Why, Fishbone, 8D) to field complaints.

Managerial and soft skills

• Clear written and spoken communication in English and Hindi.
• Strong follow-up, documentation discipline and ownership.
• Ability to coordinate across internal teams and handle customer escalations professionally.
