About the Role We're looking for a highly skilled

Tech Lead who thrives on solving complex engineering problems and enjoys building scalable products from the ground up. This is a

hands-on technical leadership role , where you'll spend a significant portion of your time designing systems, writing production-quality code, reviewing architecture, and mentoring engineers. You'll work closely with Product, Design, QA, DevOps, and Leadership to build reliable, scalable, and high-performance applications used by thousands of businesses every day.

What You'll Do Technical Leadership

• Provide technical direction to a team of engineers throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Mentor developers through code reviews, architecture discussions, pair programming, and technical guidance.
• Promote engineering best practices, clean code, and a culture of continuous improvement.
• Drive technical decision-making while balancing speed, scalability, and maintainability.

Hands-on Development

• Build end-to-end features using

Node.js, React.js, MongoDB, Express.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.

• Write clean, scalable, production-ready code.
• Review critical pull requests and help resolve complex technical challenges.
• Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance.

System Design & Architecture

• Design scalable, secure, and fault-tolerant systems.
• Lead architecture discussions and technical design reviews.
• Optimize APIs, databases, caching strategies, and application performance.
• Drive technical documentation and engineering standards.

Collaboration & Delivery

• Work closely with Product Managers, Designers, QA, and DevOps to deliver high-quality features.
• Break down complex product requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Estimate engineering effort, identify technical risks, and ensure timely delivery.
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and release planning.

Engineering Excellence

• Improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Strengthen observability, monitoring, logging, and incident management.
• Drive automated testing and code quality initiatives.
• Continuously evaluate new technologies and engineering practices to improve developer productivity.

What We're Looking For Must Have

• 4+ years of software engineering experience with strong expertise in full-stack application development.
• Deep hands-on experience with

Node.js, React.js, MongoDB, Express.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.

• Strong understanding of distributed systems, REST APIs, asynchronous programming, and modern software architecture.
• Experience designing and building scalable SaaS applications.
• Strong knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases, caching, and performance optimization.
• Hands-on experience with AWS (or similar cloud platforms), Docker, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Experience leading technical design discussions and mentoring engineers.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Good to Have

• Experience with Kubernetes and Infrastructure as Code.
• Exposure to Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis, or event-driven architectures.
• Experience integrating AI/LLM capabilities into production applications.
• Familiarity with WhatsApp Business APIs.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, or Datadog.
• Experience in high-growth SaaS or B2B product companies.
• Contributions to open-source projects, engineering blogs, or technical communities.

• Gain a deep understanding of AiSensy's architecture, codebase, engineering practices, and product ecosystem.
• Build strong relationships with Engineering, Product, Design, and Leadership teams.
• Start contributing to key technical decisions and feature development. First 60 Days
• Lead the development of critical product initiatives.
• Improve code quality through effective reviews and engineering best practices.
• Identify and address key technical bottlenecks impacting scalability and performance.

First 90 Days

• Successfully own and deliver major engineering projects.
• Drive measurable improvements in application performance, system reliability, and developer productivity.
• Mentor engineers and elevate overall technical execution across the team.

Within 180 Days

• Become a trusted technical leader driving architecture and engineering excellence.
• Improve development velocity while maintaining high quality and reliability.
• Help build scalable systems capable of supporting AiSensy's next phase of growth.
