Job Title: Technical Lead - Node.js (AI & Azure Architecture) Total Experience: 8+ Years (4-5 years in Node.js) Location: Mumbai, India Shift: 12noon - 9pm IST

Job Overview We are seeking a visionary Technical Lead - Node.js to drive the architectural direction, engineering excellence, and strategic deployment of modern Artificial Intelligence within our enterprise solutions. In this leadership role, you will establish best practices for AI-assisted development, architect scalable solutions leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs), and mentor a high-performing engineering team. As a primary technical liaison, you will collaborate directly with overseas clients to align business objectives with robust, cloud-native JavaScript/TypeScript architectures.

Key Responsibilities Define and govern the server-side architectural patterns using Node.js (Express, NestJS), ensuring enterprise-grade scalability, security, and maintainability. AI Strategy & LLM Integration: Lead the strategy and design of features powered by LLMs (OpenAI, Claude, Llama). Establish standards for RAG pipelines and prompt engineering frameworks. Team Mentorship & AI Productivity: Champion engineering velocity by training and mentoring developers in leveraging GitHub Copilot and advanced AI coding assistants. Cloud Infrastructure Strategy: Direct the design and deployment of Node.js applications and complex AI pipelines within the Azure cloud ecosystem. Strategic Client Interaction: Act as the primary technical authority interfacing with overseas customers, translating vision into architectural blueprints and managing high-level expectations. Engineering Excellence: Orchestrate rigorous code review standards, drive deep technical discussions, and establish professional development paths for the engineering team. Agile Orchestration: Drive sprint execution using Jira. Break down complex customer requirements into actionable technical tasks and manage the "Definition of Ready." System Design: Own the end-to-end architecture of new features, ensuring they are secure, testable, and optimized for high traffic.

Required Technical Skills 4–5 years of professional experience with Node.js. Deep understanding of asynchronous programming (Promises, Async/Await), event-driven architecture, and backend frameworks. Proven experience working within the Azure ecosystem (e.g., Azure App Services, Azure Functions, or Azure OpenAI Service) to deploy and scale applications. Proven experience working with LLM APIs and integrating AI-driven functionality into web applications. Daily proficiency with GitHub Copilot (or similar tools) and a strong grasp of how to use AI to refactor, debug, and document code. Strong experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and managing workflows via Jira. Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, and Vector Databases (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate) for AI-related data storage. Ability to explain why a specific architectural pattern (Microservices vs. Modular Monolith) is being chosen for a customer's specific use case. Knowing when to use AI and when to rely on traditional logic—avoiding "hallucinations" in critical business code. A passion for creating clear, concise technical documentation that serves both the development team and the client. Experience navigating technical disagreements and finding a "middle ground" that aligns with the project timeline. Experience with Next.js and React for building full-stack applications. Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate or equivalent certifications. Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines (such as Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions). Contributions to Open Source projects or a visible GitHub profile showcasing Node.js/AI experiments.
