Technical Lead

Role Overview We are looking for a highly skilled

Tech Lead Go (Golang) Engineer with 8+ years of experience in software development and strong expertise in Go. This is a

hands-on leadership role (~60–70% coding, 30–40% team leadership), where you will design and build scalable backend systems while leading a small team of engineers. You will play a key role in driving architecture, ensuring engineering excellence, and delivering high-performance, reliable systems in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain

high-performance, scalable backend systems using Go (Golang)

• Own services

end-to-end (design → development → deployment → monitoring)

• Architect and build

microservices and distributed systems with a focus on scalability, reliability, and performance

• Lead and mentor a team of 3–4 engineers, driving best practices and high-quality delivery
• Collaborate with Product, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver end-to-end solutions
• Drive

code quality, reviews, and engineering standards across the team

• Optimize systems for

low latency and high throughput

• Ensure

observability, reliability, and production readiness (monitoring, logging, alerting)

• Troubleshoot complex production issues and provide timely resolutions
• Contribute to

technical decision-making, architecture discussions, and roadmap planning Required Skills & Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in software development
• Strong hands-on experience in

Go (Golang) development

• Expertise in

Go concurrency patterns (goroutines, channels) and memory management

• Experience with

Go frameworks such as Gin / Echo / Fiber

• Strong experience in designing

distributed, scalable, and fault-tolerant systems

• Hands-on experience with

REST APIs, gRPC, and Protocol Buffers

• Experience with

microservices architecture

• Strong knowledge of

data structures, algorithms, and system design principles

• Experience with databases:

PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB or other NoSQL DBs

• Hands-on experience with

cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP) and cloud-native development

• Experience with

containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)

• Exposure to

CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)

• Experience with

observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, OpenTelemetry)

• Strong experience in

unit testing, integration testing, and debugging Good to Have

• Knowledge of

API gateways and integration platforms

• Understanding of

security best practices (OAuth2, JWT, mTLS, secure coding)
