Technical Lead

We are looking for a highly experienced Technical Lead to drive the architecture and development of our CRM platform.

The platform is built using Java 21, Spring Boot microservices, MariaDB, Spring Security, Thymeleaf, REST integrations, AI-powered services, and workflow automation technologies. The successful candidate will be responsible for technical architecture, solution design, development leadership, mentoring junior engineers, and delivering enterprise-grade CRM capabilities.

This is a hands-on leadership role. The candidate will be expected to design solutions, review code, develop critical modules, hands on development, establish engineering standards, and lead the evolution of AI and workflow automation capabilities using technologies such as n8n and LLM-based services.

Key Responsibilities

Architecture & Solution Design

• Own end-to-end application architecture for the CRM platform.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Define domain models, database architecture, service interfaces and integration patterns.
• Design secure, maintainable and high-performance systems.
• Lead architecture reviews and establish engineering best practices.
• Create technical specifications and implementation plans.

Development Leadership

• Lead development of complex modules and strategic initiatives.
• Hands on coding for critical modules on day-today basis along with junior developers
• Review pull requests and enforce coding standards.
• Perform root cause analysis for production issues.
• Guide application modernization and technical debt reduction.
• Drive release planning and delivery management.

Team Leadership & Mentoring

• Mentor junior developer.
• Break down requirements into development tasks.
• Review designs produced by other developer.
• Conduct technical knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Establish engineering processes and quality standards.

AI & Automation

• Design and implement AI-powered CRM capabilities.
• Lead integration of Spring AI, local and cloud LLMs GenAI solutions.
• Design agent-based and workflow-based automation frameworks.
• Implement AI orchestration using n8n.
• Build intelligent workflows for:

• Lead qualification
• Email automation
• Customer engagement
• Sales assistance
• Knowledge discovery
• CRM data enrichment
• Customer support automation

Integration & Platform Engineering

• Design and implement REST-based integrations.
• Lead integration with internal and third-party systems.
• Establish reusable integration patterns.
• Define API governance and standards.

Quality & Security

• Ensure secure coding practices.
• Design authentication and authorization models.
• Establish automated testing strategies.
• Drive performance optimization initiatives.
• Ensure platform reliability and maintainability.

Required Technical Skills

Core (Must)

• 8+ years of Java development experience.
• Strong expertise in Java 17/21.
• Expert knowledge of Spring Boot.
• Strong understanding of Spring Security.
• Experience with REST API architecture.
• Experience with JPA/Hibernate.
• Strong SQL and database design skills

Microservices & Integration (Must)

• Microservices architecture.
• API design and governance.
• Event-driven architecture.

Database

• MariaDB / MySQL.
• Performance tuning.
• Query optimization.
• Data modelling.

Cloud & DevOps (Must)

• Docker.

Workflow Automation (would be a plus)

• n8n.
