Technical Lead/ Manager:
You will be part of a team that is responsible for StraViso internal engineering infrastructure and services. This work will span private and public cloud infrastructure, networking, storage, applications, and platforms.

The team is responsible for planning, designing and implementing end-to-end, self-service solutions and coordinating with internal teams and outside vendors. You will engage in large projects, work through analysis, design and implementation to deliver viable cloud solutions to solve StraViso engineering challenges.

Primary Function: In this position, you will be responsible for participating in software development activities.

  Partner with Product and Project Management teams to deliver value to consumers Clarify requirements, define software roadmaps, align partner teams, and execute on business-critical projects
• Build a best-in-class engineering team that delivers excellent results through rapid iterations.
• Provide hands on technical leadership to the team
• Implement process improvements for both your own and surrounding teams.
• Define and drive metrics for software engineering performance
• Facilitate innovation within the team.
• Manage team composition, recruiting and continuous performance evaluations.
• Monitor, drive and facilitate growth of your team& as an individual contributors.

Role Requirements & Responsibilities:

• 7+ years of engineering leadership experience focused on managing high performing software delivery teams
• 7+ years of experience in Java, MY SQL.
• 5+ years of experience in Spring boot, Kafka, MongoDB.
• Strong communication skills working with a diverse set of customers.
• Experience in discovering the true requirements underlying feature requests, recommending alternative tactical approaches, and lead engineering efforts to deliver results on schedule with optimal solutions.
• Experience building complex software systems that deploy incrementally and deliver value to the customer
• Hands on technical expertise: knowledge of professional software engineering practices & standard methodologies for the full software development life cycle, including coding standard, build processes, testing, and operations
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong business and technical vision
• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a rapidly changing environment

Who You Are and What Makes You Qualified:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent professional experience
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift
• Knowledge on how to migrate legacy platforms to containerized environments
• OpenStack, KVM, RabbitMQ, MariaDB, MongoDB, Elastic Search Puppet, Ansible Azure ExpressRoute, Automation, RBAC Prometheus, Grafana monitoring
• Implement and engineer Rancher on-prem for a potential PaaS Management and implementation of NetApp HCI, Cisco UCS Build
  Develop containerized CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Bit Bucket, DevOps practices)
• Ability to learn and quickly come up to speed on new technologies
  Outstanding organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
• Creative, Open Minded, Out of the Box thinker.
