Technical Lead

Role & responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable data engineering solutions.
• Define architecture standards and best practices for data platforms.
• Review technical designs and ensure adherence to engineering standards.
• Drive technical innovation and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Mentor and guide a team of Data Engineers.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performance engineering culture.
• Build and maintain data pipelines using AWS, Databricks, PySpark, and Airflow.
• Develop high-performance ETL/ELT processes for structured and unstructured data.
• Design and optimize data models supporting reporting, analytics, and ML use cases.
• Ensure high availability, reliability, and scalability of data platforms.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of Data Engineering experience.
• 2+ years in a Technical Lead or Team Lead role.
• Strong experience building enterprise-scale data platforms on AWS.

Technical Expertise

• Deep expertise in Databricks, PySpark, Airflow, and AWS ecosystem.
• Proven experience implementing modern data lake and lakehouse architectures.
• Strong understanding of distributed computing and big data processing.
• Experience handling large-volume datasets and performance optimization.
