Job Summary

Data Ingestion Dev - LO / Lights-On Support Role OverviewFull-stack engineer supporting AWS-based data ingestion platform, focused on production stability, incident handling, and automation.

Responsibilities

• Own L1/L2 production support for APIs, services, and data pipelines
• Monitor logs and dashboards (CloudWatch, ELK, Datadog) and respond to alerts
• Troubleshoot across frontend, backend, databases, and cloud infrastructure
• Implement bug fixes, patches, and configuration changes following release processes
• Build automation (runbooks, scripts) to reduce manual effort
• Support deployments, patching, and release validation
• Maintain incident reports, postmortems, and knowledge base
• Improve observability and system reliability (metrics, logging, alerts)

Required Skills

• 4+ years experience in full-stack/backend development with production support
• Proficiency in Python / Java / .NET
• Strong AWS experience (EC2, Lambda, S3, API Gateway, RDS, IAM, etc.)
• Strong debugging using logs, APM tools, and tracing frameworks
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)
• Knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK)

Preferred Skills

• AWS Certifications
• Experience with Kubernetes / EKS
• Exposure to Kafka, SQS, Redshift or data streaming platforms
