RPA (UiPath) Senior Developer / Lead / Architect

Position Summary

The RPA Senior Developer/Lead/Architect will be responsible for designing, developing, and scaling intelligent automation solutions using UiPath and complementary AI technologies. This role will drive enterprise-wide automation initiatives by partnering with business stakeholders, Process Excellence teams, and technology teams to automate complex business processes and deliver measurable efficiency gains.

The individual will lead automation projects from opportunity identification through deployment and support while ensuring scalability, governance, security, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Automation Architecture & Strategy

• Define enterprise RPA architecture and automation standards.
• Design scalable automation solutions using UiPath technologies.
• Develop reusable automation frameworks and components.
• Create Solution Design Documents (SDD), architecture diagrams, and deployment plans.
• Evaluate emerging intelligent automation technologies and recommend adoption strategies.

Automation Development

• Develop unattended and attended automation solutions.
• Implement automation for SAP, web applications, desktop applications, Citrix environments, APIs, and enterprise systems.
• Build robust exception handling and recovery mechanisms.
• Ensure automation reliability, maintainability, and performance optimization.

Intelligent Automation

• Design and implement AI-enabled automation solutions.
• Develop solutions using:
  • UiPath Document Understanding
  • AI Center
  • OCR Technologies
  • Machine Learning Models
  • Intelligent Document Processing (IDP)
  • Agentic RPA
• Integrate AI and cognitive capabilities into automation workflows.

Process Discovery & Solution Assessment

• Perform automation feasibility assessments.
• Analyze and document business processes.
• Estimate automation complexity, effort, licensing, and infrastructure requirements.
• Collaborate with Process Excellence teams to optimize processes before automation.

Governance & Delivery Excellence

• Establish RPA development standards and best practices.
• Conduct code reviews and solution quality assessments.
• Implement CI/CD and DevOps practices for automation delivery.
• Ensure compliance with audit, security, and control requirements.
• Maintain automation documentation and operational support standards.

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

• Lead RPA development teams and technical delivery.
• Mentor UiPath developers and automation analysts.
• Engage with business stakeholders to identify automation opportunities.
• Present automation roadmaps, benefits, and solution recommendations to leadership teams.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor?s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 8+ years of overall IT experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on UiPath development experience.
• Strong expertise in:

  • UiPath Orchestrator
  • REFramework
  • Document Understanding
  • Integration Services
  • AI Center
• Experience with SAP, ERP systems, APIs, Citrix automation, and enterprise application integration.
• Strong knowledge of RPA development best practices and automation design patterns.

Preferred Qualifications

• UiPath Advanced Developer Certification.
• UiPath Solution Architect Certification.
• Experience with Power Platform integration.
• Knowledge of Python, SQL, and Azure Services.
• Exposure to Process Mining, Task Mining, and Agentic AI solutions.
• Experience in large-scale enterprise automation programs.
