We are seeking a Technical Lead to own the design and delivery of scalable, secure backend services for authentication and identity platforms.
Responsibilities
- Lead architecture and development of Java-based services and REST APIs
- Provide technical leadership through design reviews, code reviews, and mentoring
- Drive scalability, reliability, and security across distributed systems
- Collaborate with product, security, and platform teams to deliver high-impact features
- Champion best practices for zero-downtime deployments, observability, and system resilience
- 10+ years of software product development experience, where products are in use at scale by customers
- 5+ years of experience as a tech lead for product development teams
- Proven experience with identity and authentication platforms
- Strong expertise in Java, distributed systems, and API design
- Experience with zero-downtime deployments and production-grade systems
- Experience with databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL/Oracle/NoSQL)
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes and cloud-based deployments
- Experience using AI-assisted coding tools
