Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Design Engineer with a strong background in mechanical design to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a proven track record of designing innovative solutions that meet customer requirements. This role requires a deep understanding of mechanical design principles and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the mechanical design process from concept through to production, ensuring designs meet specifications and quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical, software, and manufacturing engineers, to develop integrated solutions.
• Conduct design reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members to enhance design quality.
• Utilize CAD software to create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings for manufacturing.
• Perform simulations and analyses to validate design performance and reliability.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in mechanical design technologies.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on best practices in mechanical design.
• Prepare technical documentation and reports to support design decisions and project milestones.

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong mechanical design knowledge and experience.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
• Experience with design validation techniques, including FEA and CFD.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve design issues effectively.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in product development lifecycle and project management.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to mechanical design.
• Experience with design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA).

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 8-10 years of relevant experience in mechanical design.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
