TECHNICAL LEAD - C++

Location: Preferably SMILES 2-Bengaluru, Remote will also work, with occasional travel to Bangalore office for any important meeting.

Years of Experience: 8 to 10 Years

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Lead with extensive experience in C++ programming for Linux environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing complex software projects and a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions. Experience in legacy application modernization is a plus, but the primary focus will be on C++ expertise.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the software development project
• Utilize strong C++ knowledge to guide technical discussions and decisions throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Evaluate and implement best practices for software development and project management.
• Assist in the modernization of legacy applications, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption.

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong proficiency in C++ programming, particularly in Linux environments.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in legacy application modernization.
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8 to 10 years of experience in software development and project management.
