Technical Lead-C Programmer

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Translate business requirements into technical specifications, application designs, data models and integration solutions for post-trade and banking operations.
• Develop, enhance and support software applications for financial calculations, transaction processing, scheduled workflows and regulatory reporting.
• Lead modernization initiatives including service enablement, refactoring and improvements to application scalability, security and resilience.
• Provide technical direction, mentor engineers, enforce coding standards and conduct code and pull-request reviews.
• Own incident triage, root-cause analysis, production stability, runbook improvements and support for scheduled and end-of-day processes.

Skills Required:

• 6-10 years of relevant software engineering experience, including substantial exposure to financial services or banking technology.
• Strong hands-on experience with C programming and software development in large, complex application environments.
• Advanced SQL skills including complex queries, schema design, data relationship modelling and query tuning.
• Experience with investment banking, banking operations, retail banking, corporate or institutional banking, transaction banking or related financial-services domains.
• Ability to design and support complicated process flows, transaction-processing applications, integrations and scheduled operational workflows.

Good to Have:

• Experience with C++ or C/C++ development.

Education:

• Any graduate degree from an accredited institution.
