Technical Editor

The Technical Editor is responsible for editing, formatting, and quality-checking manuscripts for digital and print publication. The role ensures accuracy, consistency and adherence to publisher guidelines in e-publishing workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit and proofread manuscripts (journals/books) for grammar, punctuation, and style consistency
• Apply publisher-specific style guidelines (e.g., APA, MLA, Chicago)
• Format content using tools such as MS Word, LaTeX, or XML-based systems
• Perform content structuring, tagging, and pagination as per project requirements
• Check equations, figures, tables, and references for accuracy and consistency
• Coordinate with authors, proofreaders, and production teams for corrections
• Ensure zero-error delivery and meet strict deadlines
